How it works

Fusion® Stress & Anxiety contains OciBest®, a standardised extract of the Ayurvedic herb Holy Basil. In a clinical study involving people who reported feeling stressed, taking OciBest® in doses equivalent to four Stress & Anxiety tablets per day for six weeks was shown to reduce stress symptoms 1.6 times more effectively than taking a placebo supplement, and to be particularly effective for the relief of symptoms such as forgetfulness, sleeping difficulties and feeling exhausted1.
 
The Ayurvedic herb Withania is also present in this formula, and has traditionally been used as a tonic herb (rasayana) to enhance physical and mental health, increase energy, and improve resistance to stress.
In TCM, symptoms of stress and worry are commonly associated with disturbances in the flow of Qi (the life force that flows through the body) or Shen (the energetic force that encompasses the mind, spirit and conscious awareness, and which resides in the Heart organ-meridian system).
In a vicious cycle, instability or agitation of the Shen can be induced by physical stress, mental pressure or intense emotions, and may also lead to the same symptoms, often manifesting as mild anxiety, nervousness, irritability or insomnia.
The Chinese herbs in Fusion® Stress & Anxiety work together to stabilise Shen, calm the mind and spirit, regulate the Qi, and quieten the Heart organ-meridian system to reduce stress and mild anxiety, improve energy and mental function, promote restful sleep and ease nervous indigestion and other digestive difficulties associated with stress.

Directions for use

Dosage (as per label)

    Instructions:

    You can use VitargoS2 any time of the day as a sugar-free component of your favourite shakes and smoothie recipes. VitargoS2is a favourite during carbo-loading!
     
    VitargoS2 is a different molecular carbohydrate – follow the directions closely.

    In a shaker bottle:

    Fill a shaker bottle with 6 ounces (200 millilitres) of room temperature/tepid water. Add 2 level scoops of VitargoS2 and shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds.
    Add an additional 16 to 20 ounces (500-600 millilitres) of cold water and shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds.

     In a blender:

    VitargoS2 can be combined with your favourite post-training blender concoction – protein powder, branched chain amino acids (BCAAs), cinnamon powder, etc. and your favourite liquid.
     
    For best results add 2 level scoops to a blender drink while it’s on and blending.
     

    When to use:

     
    VitargoS2 can be used before or during training or competition, or between bouts such as the transition zone during a triathlon; half-time during a match or game; between heats for the fastest muscle refuelling and recovery to perform at a higher level again, sooner.

    Before, between, or during exercise/competition:

    Mix 1-2 levels of Vitargo S2 as described above. Note that Vitargo S2’s unique molecular viscosity makes it thicker than other carbohydrate drinks-experiment and see if you prefer 1 or 2 scoops. Drink to rapid fuelling!

    Post-training/competition/glycogen loading:
