WHAT IS YOUR ULTIMATE CHEAT MEAL?

Ultimate cheat meal would be butter chicken with naan bread, followed with Max Brenner's tutti frutti waffles with extra vanilla ice-cream! Yum!

WHAT MUSIC DO YOU LIKE TO TRAIN TO?

I love training to anything that has a good beat! I love training to RAP, RnB and Dance. I feel like it gets me moving & gives me energy to train harder!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE THING TO DO WHEN YOU ARE NOT TRAINING?

I love to clean and cook! It keeps me calm and always on the move. When I'm not cooking or cleaning, I'm thinking of when my next meal or what body part I'm going to train next.


HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN TRAINING FOR?

I have been training for the past 11 years. Started weight training at home and doing my morning interval fasted cardio in the morning. I have been training consistently ever since.

WHAT KEEPS YOU MOTIVATED?

My motivation comes from my fixation of self-improvement. I want to be able to set good examples to my peers and anyone looking to improve their health and lifestyle choices by being a great role model.
I love looking after myself not only physically but also mentally. I feel like training gives me the balance I need. I work really long hours so when I do get to train, it's therapeutic. I love pushing myself and love seeing results. I live a fairly active life and even more so when getting ready for a competition. This is a lifestyle choice for me and I thoroughly enjoy it. It provides me with focus and drive and definitely strengthens discipline.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE SOMEONE WANTING TO COMPETE?

I will ask them if they have what it takes to compete. Competing is a sport that is 'all or nothing!". It is a complete mind sport and they need to be mentally prepared! They need to remind themselves of their goals and be prepared to make sacrifices, sticking to their diet and training. Are they prepared to look the best that they have ever looked for a small price to pay?

WHO INSPIRES YOU?

Who and what inspires me? All the IFBB Bikini Pro female athletes. They look absolutely incredible. Seeing all their hard work and dedication definitely inspires me to compete in body building.


WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR THE NEAR FUTURE?

My passion is competing in body building competitions. I recently entered into the INBA Physique Titles on 2 April, where I placed 1st Place in the Bikini Opens Overalls. I also qualified to compete nationally at the pro-qualifiers for my pro-card. My goal is to enter into the IFBB federation next year and hopefully qualify for the Arnolds. However, in the meantime, I plan to continue my training, stay at a good weight and have well balanced life.

 

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE SUPPLEMENTS?

Fasted Cardio : Alphamine together with L-Carnitine. I stack these two together to give me energy and to optimize my fat burning when I do my fasted cardio.

I use MP-V by ATP : I use this on fasted cardio, pre-workouts, intra-workouts and as an appetite suppressant. I love that it is a fat burner and it does gie me focus and the fact that the fast acting fats will aid in my energy levels. I don't feel sick in the stomach when I take it. I love that it is a fat burner so I take this particulrly on fasted cardio. I also don't min the peppermint taste.

Protein : For my WPI, I use Sci-tech in caramel and also cinnamon white chocolate and mocha. Of course taste and flavour of protein is important to me, especially when dieting (as I feel like i'm having a milkshake and feels like you're cheating when in fact it's clean and give my muscle what it needs) - has protein, less carbs and less fats which is pretty much an all in one hit. I've tried numerous protein powders and this one is by far the best tasting one.

Pre-workout : RedRum - I like this pre-workout because I feel like it definitely delivers in terms of nice clean energy with no face scratching and come downs.

Intra Workout - I use PE Science AMino IV with my other favourite Extend in Mango (BCAA'S).
