Are the herbs extracts or whole herbs?
Mermaid Latte utilises whole herbs. Here at Nutra Organics, it is of the utmost importance to us that all members of the family can enjoy the majority of our products and that where possible, we use the most “whole” form of the ingredient available.
Is Mermaid Latte vegan?
Mermaid Latte contains Manuka Honey, so it is not vegan.
Is it gluten free?
Yes! The recipes do not contain any gluten containing ingredients and we make sure that they are manufactured and packed in a gluten free environment.
What does Mermaid Latte taste like?
Mermaid late is a gently spiced chai latte. The unique combination of spices leaves a warm feeling in your mouth which compliments the delicate sweetness of the coconut milk and Manuka Honey. If you have a sweet tooth you may like to add some additional sweetness from organic coconut sugar, maple or local honey.
What is Mermaid Latte sweetened with?
The sweetness comes from a combination of coconut milk and Manuka Honey. On top of that we have further enhanced the flavour with natural chai and monk fruit flavours.
Why do the spices in my Mermaid Latte float or sit at the bottom?
At Nutra Organics we don’t add any stabilizers or instantizers to enhance the solubility of the spices to our formulations. Therefore spices may naturally float to the top of your latte or settle on the bottom, but you can rest assured it’s because they are the real deal. If you would like to reduce this, we suggest frothing the milk as this tends to keep them held in suspension a bit longer.
