The inspiration behind the packaging

Inspired by the traditional knowledge of Australia’s First Nations Peoples.
Showcasing the powerful healing properties offered by Australian bush natives and
essential oils.

For the Australian Bush range packaging, the Australian Natural Soap Company has
collaborated with Daphne Marks, an Indigenous artist.

Daphne is one of the youngest, and most prolific painters working at Ikuntji Art
Centre. Her artwork depicts the Yalka (or bush onion).

The Yalka grows after the rain and collected by the women. They can be eaten raw
or cooked in the hot sand next to the campfire.

“We cook them just a little bit, like Maku (witchetty grub).” – Daphne Marks.

A percentage of the Australian Bush range sales goes directly to Daphne.

The Wattle Seed soap bar is part of our new Australian Bush range, showcasing a range of incredible essential oils native to Australia.

Wattle Seed Powder, Nerolina Leaf Oil and Rosalina Leaf Oil have been combined in the one bar to complement each other in their ability to reduce inflammation, promote skin healing and calm sensitive, irritated skin.

Suitable for all skin types, naturally antiviral, antifungal and antibacterial while still incredibly moisturising, our Wattle Seed soap bar is a true testament to the healing properties of Australian native flora.

Wattle Seeds is harvested from the seed pods of a variety of trees from the Acacia species.

When ground into a powder, Australian Wattle Seeds don’t just provide a fantastic flavour and aroma but are also an incredible activator of natural skin health, working to reduce inflammation, and to promote skin regeneration and wound healing.

Nerolina oil complements the soothing elements of Wattle Seed Powder by bringing tone balance and overall strength to the skin. A natural decongestant and immune stimulant.

Nerolina Oil is antiviral, antifungal, and antibacterial. These properties have been utilised for centuries in the treatment of various skin conditions, but also allows it to help clear up acne and congestion in the skin. In this way, it has been likened to Tea Tree oil, but is much more suited to sensitive skin types while also being a natural deep moisturiser.
Similarly, Rosalina Oil is also fantastic for sensitive skin types and has been shown to help soothe irritated skin and even-out complexion. Easily and rapidly absorbed into the skin,

Rosalina oil is deeply moisturising and is naturally antimicrobial, antibacterial and antiviral. With the added moisturising properties of Australian Olive Oil, our Wattle Seed Soap Bar is the perfect option for those seeking a nourishing cleanser, suited to a whole spectrum of sensitivities, irritations or skin concerns.
It is a true testament to the healing properties of Australian flora.
