It has a mild nutty flavour which makes great pancakes and biscuits. When making cakes or breads, quinoa flour may need to be used in conjuntion with another gluten-rich flour in order for it to rise.
When using quinoa flour as a substitute in recipes, more moisture may also need to be added due to its higher absorbency.
