It is a great addition in savoury dishes such as curries and can be the feature in cereal mixes, biscuits, muffins and cakes. It can be enjoyed raw or lightly toasted.
Due to its fat content, it will absorb strong surrounding odors i.e. strong food aromas so ensure storage is away from potential exposure to physical damage, inorganic chemicals as well as excess humidity and temperature extremes.
The coconut flesh is simply dried and flaked, without the use of sweeteners or preservatives so the natural flavour and aroma of the coconut is retained.
