WHY DOES PRELIFT CONTAIN OVER 300 MG OF CAFFEINE?
Research shows that caffeine supplementation enhances cognitive function as well as various aspects of aerobic and anaerobic training performance including muscular endurance, strength, and movement velocity. The scientific literature also reports that 1.36-2.72 mg per pound (3-6 mg per kilogram) of bodyweight is a consistently effective range. To achieve these levels, a 130 lb. person would need to consume 177-354 mg of caffeine; 175 lb. person would need 238-476 mg; and a 200 lb. person would need between 272 and 544 milligrams. At approximately 330mg per serving, preLIFT provides a caffeine dose that is effective for most users. As some individuals are more sensitive to the effects of caffeine than others, we suggest starting off with a half serving, or less, to access your personal tolerance.^
WHAT CAUSES MY SKIN TO TINGLE OR FLUSH?
preLIFT™ contains a clinically studied dose of beta alanine – an amino acid that helps boost carnosine levels. Carnosine acts a buffer to help delay the onset of lactic acid, fatigue, and muscle failure. With continued use over time, carnosine helps builds endurance and improves recovery. Beta alanine can also cause paresthesia, a temporary and harmless tingling or flushing sensation on the skin. Paresthesia varies from individual to individual, and factors including body temperature, the amount of beta alanine used, and whether taken with or without food may all affect sensitivity.^
